Record your published page or update

Record the real public page address after publishing or updating content in your own editor.

  1. Publish and check the page first

Publish in your website editor, then open the actual public page. Confirm that the intended content is visible without signing in.

Return to the matching Blue Kite draft and open Publish. If you used WordPress's editor directly, expand Already published? Record the live URL under Copy content when offered.

  2. Save the public address with your confirmation

Enter Live page URL or Live article URL. Select I've published and checked this page on my website, or the article equivalent.

Select Record published URL. For an update, use Record updated URL or Mark update complete when shown. Wait for the public-URL check.

  3. Check the saved publication record

Read the result and use Open the saved live URL to verify the address.

If the automatic URL check could not finish, Blue Kite may still save the record from your publication confirmation. Read the message before submitting again. A URL availability check does not check that the website’s text matches your draft.

Return to your Monthly SEO Plan. Later draft edits need a deliberate published-content update.

If the address cannot be recorded

Use the full public URL for this exact page or article. If your Business Profile has a website address, the live URL must belong to that website. An editor preview, sign-in page or unrelated homepage is not the publication address.

Follow the displayed message. If the draft changed while its URL was checked, review the latest saved version and try recording again. Saving this record does not itself publish or rewrite your website.
