Publish a new page or article to WordPress
Approve a reviewed new page or article, publish it to WordPress and check the live result.
Open and check the saved draft
Find the page or article. Complete the before-publishing checks, including facts, images, contact links and the desktop and mobile preview.
Finish editing and wait for saving before continuing.
Check the publishing destination
Open Publish and look for WordPress → Connected to your website. Confirm the actual connected address in Settings → Website if you need to check the destination.
Connect WordPress or repair an existing connection if needed. If this task updates a page that already exists, use existing-page help instead of creating a duplicate.
Approve and publish
Select I've read this draft and I'm happy for it to go on my website only after reviewing this version.
Select Publish to my website. This makes the reviewed content public. Wait for the WordPress result.
Open the live URL and check the page
Open the Saved live URL. Check the actual public content, images, enquiry action and mobile layout.
Confirm the publication status and saved address in Blue Kite, then return to your Monthly SEO Plan.
If publishing does not finish clearly
Use Check if it is live now when offered before sending again. Follow any message about the connection, website mismatch or unfinished draft. Check the connector if needed.
If you published directly in your own editor, record the actual public URL. Copying, saving a draft and publishing are different actions.
