Change an existing page's search title or description

Change the supported search title or description for an existing WordPress page.

  1. Enter the page and the search fields to change

Open Monthly SEO Plan → Your requested WordPress changes → Update a page’s SEO title or description.

    • Public page URL: the exact published page.
    • New SEO title (optional): the title you want to set.
    • New meta description (optional): the description you want to set.

Enter at least one new field. A blank field is left unchanged. Select Check this metadata change.

  2. Review the exact wording and approve

Under Search appearance tasks, check the matched public page and proposed fields.

Select the confirmation, then Approve and apply. This updates only the shown search metadata and leaves the page's search-visibility setting unchanged.

  3. Check the saved result

Wait for Completed on WordPress. Use Check the WordPress result if offered. Follow any unsupported-provider or permission message.

Search results may take time to change, and search engines may show different wording. Check the WordPress result rather than treating an unchanged Google snippet as a failed save.

  4. Undo the change when needed

Open Undo this change, select its confirmation and Restore previous state. Wait for the restore result.

Use How it looks on Google in the draft, then publish the saved update. For AI-planned metadata work, use the task's own approval.
