Fix a website link or supported WordPress menu link

Change one checked content link or a supported block-theme menu destination.

  1. Request an exact link change inside a page or article

Open Monthly SEO Plan → Your requested WordPress changes → Change an internal link on an existing page or article.

Choose Change and Content type, then fill in:

    • Page or article containing the text: the source page.
    • Exact text to link: text appearing once in a simple paragraph or list item.
    • Current link destination: required for changing or removing a link.
    • New published destination: required for adding or changing a link.

Select Check this link change. Other page content stays unchanged.

  2. Check and approve the content link

Under Internal-link tasks, check the source, exact text, action and destinations. Select the confirmation, then Approve and apply.

If the text is ambiguous or the page format is unsupported, follow the message and arrange a manual edit. Do not change the request to a different target just to pass the check.

  3. For a supported menu change, use the separate menu form

Open Change a block-theme navigation link. Choose Point menu item to another page or Remove menu item.

Set Current content type and Current page or article URL. For replacement, also set New content type and New published page URL. For removal, leave the new destination empty.

Select Check this menu. This route supports a checked active block menu; classic or ambiguous menus need another supported task or a manual edit.

  4. Approve the exact menu destination

Under Block-navigation tasks, check the menu, source, destination and Menu links affected count.

Select the confirmation and Approve and apply. This changes the destination or removes the link; it does not rename its wording.

  5. Test the result and use the matching undo route if needed

Wait for Completed on WordPress. Test the actual link or menu on desktop and mobile.

For a content link, Undo this change → Restore previous state restores its previous link state. For a menu, use Restore previous menu after confirming. Use the displayed result-check action if processing is unfinished.

Use the planned task's WordPress controls. It may support a different reviewed menu operation. Removing a page or changing a redirect is a separate action; see page retirement or redirects.
