Add proof and customer reviews

Add confirmed trust details and choose a review source and display permissions.

  1. Add confirmed trust details

    Open Business Profile → Additional details and find Trust and experience.

    These fields are optional:

    • Licence details: add relevant licence or registration details you can confirm.
    • Do you want to mention insurance? Choose Yes only if accurate and you want it mentioned. Add Insurance details when the field appears.
    • How long have you been in business? Enter confirmed experience.
    • Warranty or guarantee details: include any limits customers need to understand.
    • Anything else that helps customers trust you? Add genuine proof such as awards or relevant experience.
    • Anything we should be especially careful about? Add important disclaimers or limits on claims.

    Leave uncertain details blank.

  2. Choose where your reviews come from

    In Reviews, open Where do your reviews usually live?

    • WordPress review shortcode: paste the shortcode from your existing review plugin into WordPress review shortcode. Do not paste script or iframe code.
    • Manual testimonials: add individual review cards using the next steps.
    • No reviews yet: continue without adding reviews.

    Choose one source. Blue Kite does not combine a review widget with manual testimonials on the same generated page.

  3. Fill in a manual review card

    If you chose Manual testimonials, add a review you have permission to use.

    • Review text: paste the actual review or testimonial.
    • Reviewer name: add a name or initials only when permitted.
    • Review source: say where it came from, such as Google or an email.
    • Star rating: choose a rating only if the original includes one.
    • What service is this review related to? Choose a service when the review clearly refers to it.
    • What area is this review related to? Choose an area when the review clearly mentions it.

    Service, area and rating can stay unspecified when they do not apply.

  4. Choose whether a manual review can be public

    Select Can we show this review publicly? only when the business has permission to display it.

    Leave it unchecked if the review is only background information for planning. Permission allows a review to be used when relevant; it does not mean every review will appear in every draft.

    Use + Add another review for the next testimonial. Add review text to the current card before creating another.

Save and check

If you also want to add offers, workload or tone preferences, complete those optional details before leaving Additional details.

Select Save & Continue during setup, or Save changes when editing. Review the details before confirming your profile.

Later, preview the draft to check how approved proof or reviews appear. Also check a WordPress review widget on the actual website after publishing.
