Choose the website actions in your report

Choose existing Analytics events, check their labels and save the actions shown in Reports.

  1. Open your report actions

Connect Google Analytics first. In Reports, select Choose actions when none are selected, or Edit actions beside the action cards.

You can also use Manage connections → Google Analytics → Edit report actions.

  2. Choose a recorded event and label

Under Important website actions (optional), choose Recorded event. Check the suggested Report label and edit it to describe what this event actually records.

For example, label a successful quote-form event as a form submission, not a confirmed sale. Select Add action to keep adding events.

  3. Review the selected actions

Edit each saved label where needed. Use Remove for an action you no longer want in this report.

Open Set up action tracking if events are missing. Test the relevant action on your website and check that it reaches Analytics. A new event may need activity before it appears here.

  4. Save and check the report

Select Save actions, or Cancel to leave without saving. Updated figures import in the background; saved history remains available.

In the monthly report, choose Organic search or All traffic. Labels change the report presentation; they do not rename Google events or install tracking.

Recent events could not be loaded?

You can still edit existing labels or remove selected actions when offered. Return later to choose new events, or repair the connection.

Counts can include repeated actions. Phone clicks are not confirmed calls, and email clicks are not confirmed messages. Use labels that preserve that distinction.
