A great website needs a good plan behind it
You already know how much work goes into designing a website. But a client can love the finished design and still ask a difficult question: “How will people find us?”
That question affects more than the launch. It influences which pages you create, what they say, which old URLs you protect, how people make inquiries and what you check after the site goes live. It's also why clients increasingly ask about Google and AI-powered search before they understand what either can realistically do for them.
In this course, you'll follow Sam, who runs Cedarline Web Studio. Sam wants to attract more suitable website projects and explain the studio's services more clearly. Then ClearFlow Plumbing asks Sam to consider a redesign, bringing up the SEO decisions that appear during a real client project. Cedarline and ClearFlow are fictional examples created for learning.
You'll practice making those decisions one at a time, from the first client conversation to the final handover. You won't need to become a full-time SEO specialist or promise results you can't control.
What you'll learn
- Help potential clients understand who your studio works with and what you offer.
- Plan client pages around real services, useful information and accurate claims.
- Build and check the foundations that help people and search engines use a website.
- Protect important pages during a redesign and understand what to measure after launch.
- Explain Google and AI visibility responsibly, then hand clients clear next steps.
What you'll leave with
A practical improvement plan for your own studio website, plus a reusable way to check a client's website and explain what happens after launch. You can save your responses as you go and build a simple workbook, or just work through the lessons.
